This Administrative Assistant position at SCFHT manages the SCFHT media platforms, advertising, and promotions, provides direct administrative support to the SCFHT leadership team, and is a member of the Privacy Officer Team.

Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
  • Advertising and Health Promotion
    • Maintain corporate websites
    • Maintain corporate social media
    • Maintain corporate SharePoint and provide training as required
    • Promote SCFHT programs and health campaigns through regular updates on our webpage and social media platforms and in person if required
    • Create promotional materials
    • Promote and assist in coordinating SCFHT events
    • Be a member of the ANHP OHT (Ontario Health Team) Communications Working Group
  • Executive and Administrative Support
    • Assist with scheduling meetings for the Management team as required
    • Record and circulate minutes for SCFHT meetings and working groups as required
    • Provide administrative support to the SCFHT Management team
    • Assist with orientation and onboarding for new staff, students, and affiliates
    • Assist with policy annual renewals and signatures
  • Privacy Officer
    • Complete Privacy Officer Training
    • Assist with processing patient medical records requests
    • Assist with processing monthly privacy audits
    • Prepare monthly internal privacy newsletters
    • Prepare monthly patient education social media posts
  • Consistently perform day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
  • Office Administration certificate or 5+years of experience in an office administration role
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrate excellence in customer/patient service
  • The following are not required but would be considered an asset: basic medical terminology, experience using electronic medical records (EMR) software, accounting software (i.e., Simply Accounting), and SharePoint
