Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
Washagamis Bay First Nation is currently accepting applications a Technology Teacher. This position will be based out of the community of Washagamis Bay First Nation. The individual will be responsible for working with all ages/grades from K-12.
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
• High School Education preferred
• Two years direct experience in a school setting would be an asset
• Must be energetic and possess outgoing personality, compassionate, and patient
• Must be self-motivated and active-minded
• Must have superior oral communication and written communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced setting
• Must possess excellent planning and organizational skills
• Cultural sensitivity to the Anishinaabe Culture and Language is a must
• A cleared criminal record check and vulnerable sector check is required ongoingly.
• Must possess valid driver’s license
