Duties:
The Delivery Driver at World of Water Kenora is an integral component to the team. The individual is
required to perform water deliveries, and all related product supply deliveries in an efficient and
accurate manner with an emphasis on quality customer service.
- Deliver full water bottles and collect empty bottles from daily routes.
- Perform deliveries of all related products.
- Load and unload the vehicle as well as put away all product and delivery equipment properly.
- Complete required number of deliveries within the expected timeframe.
- Be efficient and accurate in deliveries, delivering the correct products and placing them in the correct location and logging sales information into the hand-held unit.
- Ability to utilize an Android handheld accurately, ensuring orders and payments are entered properly.
- Familiarity with Kenora and the surrounding area is an asset.
- Ability to regularly lift 45 lb. water bottles and load into and off trucks.
- Reconcile the day with the store management, reporting on skipped calls and providing reasoning.
- Be focused on customer service, always representing World of Water Kenora properly.
- Appearance is important, look neat and tidy at all times, wearing the required uniform.
- Conduct daily and weekly full vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle health is maintained.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, both interior and exterior.
- Perform additional duties at the discretion of the Store Manager or Owners. This includes:
- Water and ice production.
- General cleaning duties.
- Additional deliveries or pick up of supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid class G licenses
- Clear driver’s abstract & criminal record check is required
- Knowledge of Android devices an asset but not necessary
- Able to consistently lift/carry 50 pounds; this is a physically demanding position
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the desire to deliver superior customer service
- Able to communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form
- Have access to a reliable vehicle or a reliable way to and from work
