As a Program Team Member (Seasonal), you will help deliver engaging, adventure-based programming while ensuring the safety, skill development, and positive experience of all campers. You will contribute to both the behind-the-scenes logistics and the on-the-water or high-ropes action, helping create seamless, inspiring, and safe outdoor adventures.

HOW you’ll create Moments that Matter:
You will facilitate age-appropriate activities such as canoeing, kayaking, climbing, high ropes, and waterfront programs, while modeling teamwork, enthusiasm, and safety for campers. You will maintain and care for program equipment, follow risk management protocols, and support the broader camp team in delivering smooth transitions, events, and daily operations. You will also assist with program documentation, incident reporting, and end-of-season reporting to ensure continuous program improvement and accountability.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in leading outdoor recreation, adventure-based, or waterfront programming
- Experience working with children or youth in camp, educational, or recreational settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safe outdoor practices, risk management, and proper equipment use
- Ability to adapt, multitask, and remain calm in high-energy, outdoor environments
- Commitment to completing the Y Winnipeg Camp Stephens Training Pathway (paid training provided if needed)
- Required Certifications : National Lifeguard (NL) Pool, Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C
