As the 3-Week Quatros Coordinator (Seasonal), you will lead and implement the 3-Week Quatros Program, guiding young adults through immersive leadership training, wilderness canoe trips, and experiential learning opportunities. You will oversee program design, facilitate skill-building activities, mentor participants, and ensure high-quality, safe, and engaging leadership programming. Your work will create meaningful experiences that foster confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a lifelong connection to leadership and the outdoors.

HOW you’ll create Moments that Matter:
You will provide mentorship and leadership to Quatros participants and staff, foster a supportive and inclusive program environment, and guide participants through wilderness expeditions and experiential learning. You will plan and deliver structured leadership programming, manage program logistics, and maintain participant records and documentation. You will also complete incident reports as needed, contribute to camp-wide programs, and prepare end-of-season reports summarizing participant progress and recommendations for future program development.
You’ll bring:
- Previous leadership or outdoor programming experience, ideally in a camp or experiential learning setting
- Wilderness trip leadership experience, including canoe tripping, navigation, and risk management
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to mentor young adults and foster leadership growth
- Ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate leadership programming while adapting to participants’ needs
- Physical stamina and comfort working in remote, outdoor, and wilderness environments
- Willingness to complete the Y Winnipeg Camp Stephens Training Pathway (paid training provided if required)
- Required certifications: Bronze Cross (Bronze Medallion prerequisite assumed), Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C
