Duties:

The Cook position is designed to give the head cook support, maintain and execute standards of quality in food preparation. This position plays a key role in development and attention to Health and Safety practices.

 

  • Prepare menu items and prep for events, leagues and weddings.
  • Assist other cook and serving staff on a daily basis
  • Accountable for standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency
  • Accurately orders and maintains inventory on all food products and daily prep production of food
  • Has knowledge and skill with food prep, preparing menu items and use of equipment

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written
  • Ability to work independently and to take the initiative
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and adapt to change
  • Enjoy a challenge and have fun doing it
  • Ability to work in an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, openness, honesty and mutual respect
  • Transportation to and from workplace.
  • Ability to work varied shifts and on weekends and holidays.
