Duties:
The Cook position is designed to give the head cook support, maintain and execute standards of quality in food preparation. This position plays a key role in development and attention to Health and Safety practices.
- Prepare menu items and prep for events, leagues and weddings.
- Assist other cook and serving staff on a daily basis
- Accountable for standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency
- Accurately orders and maintains inventory on all food products and daily prep production of food
- Has knowledge and skill with food prep, preparing menu items and use of equipment
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written
- Ability to work independently and to take the initiative
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and adapt to change
- Enjoy a challenge and have fun doing it
- Ability to work in an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, openness, honesty and mutual respect
- Transportation to and from workplace.
- Ability to work varied shifts and on weekends and holidays.
