Duties:

  • Ability to communicate effectively using and diplomacy
  • Maintaining client confidentiality
  • Providing reception duties and maintaining professional standards for customer service
  • Preparing, distributing and requesting a variety of documents such as court reports, pre-parole reports, community information, and court documentation
  • Composing and typing routine correspondence ensuring accuracy and proper distribution
  • Receiving and directing telephone calls and communicating with clients with diverse needs
  • Receiving and distributing mail
  • Maintaining files and abiding by retention schedules
  • Using Ministry software to enter legal documents with accuracy

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and apply administrative procedures, regulations and sections of related legislation
  • Proven analytical and reasoning skills to determine what information can be provided to inquiries
  • Organizational skills to determine and realign priorities and to resolve competing priorities and conflicting meetings
