MWM Earthworks has been the trusted landscape provider to cottagers and businesses in the S.E. Whiteshell and Clearwater Bay area for the past 15-20 years. We have two locations, West Hawk Lake, and Keewatin ON. We are searching for a candidate with a passion for the outdoors, and experience in landscape construction and maintenance. We specialize in custom stone work, retaining walls, garden beds, tree and shrub installations, lawns, pathways, and driveways.
Duties:
- Navigate to rural locations and efficiently execute daily tasks
- Follow instructions provided by site foreman and communicate with peers
- Assist with installation of stone work, flagstone patios, and paving stone
- Operate equipment to execute daily tasks
- Load and unload equipment from trailers
- Plant trees and shrubs
- Ability to lift heavy items/material throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Class 5 (G) License is required, with a Class 3 (D or A) being preferred.
- Experience in the landscape industry is necessary for this position
- Experience in landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming
- Ability to maintain gardens and weeding
- Experience with planting trees, shrubs, and other landscape elements
- Experience with power tools and landscaping equipment is necessary
