Duties:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our educational team. The school serves students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8 and is committed to providing a high-quality, culturally responsive learning environment that supports student achievement, well-being, and community values.

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Maintain accurate student records and reports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration.
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification/license as required by Ontario regulations.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and classroom management.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with differentiated instruction.
  • Knowledge of current teaching methodologies and assessment practices.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
