Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and skilled Construction Supervisor to lead and manage our team on-site. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, coordinating crews and equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and supporting the successful delivery of construction projects.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with hands-on construction experience, capable of directing crews, solving problems in real time, and ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities and crew members
  • Lead, mentor, and manage field staff, ensuring productivity and accountability
  • Oversee staff time management, including scheduling, tracking hours worked, and approving timesheets to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and labour to support project timelines
  • Work closely with management to support project planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Monitor progress on-site and address issues, delays, or safety concerns immediately
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site
  • Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all phases of construction
  • Assist in securing contracts and identifying work opportunities for company equipment and crews
  • Complete daily reports, site documentation, and updates for management
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and professional work environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience supervising construction crews is considered an asset
  • Must possess a valid driver’s licence and provide a driver’s abstract
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership and team supervision skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities on-site
  • Post-secondary education in construction or a related field is considered an asset
