Duties:
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with provincial regulations and company standards
- Transport materials to designated job sites and maintain delivery schedules
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete required maintenance reports
- Secure loads properly and ensure safe transportation practices
- Maintain accurate digital logbooks and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Willing to travel and be out of town often
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Class D Driver’s Licence with a clean driving abstract
- Must have no criminal record (criminal background check required)
- Previous dump truck or heavy equipment driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of safe hauling and construction site procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
