Hours of Work: Full-Time, Permanent Position (12 hour rotating shifts, days and nights, including weekends, averaging 40 hours per week)

Wage: $35.20 per hour (Benefits from Day 1, including: Provincial medical coverage, Extended health & dental (no waiting period), Pension plan with immediate vesting, Site performance based gainshare plan

 

Weyerhaeuser’s Engineered Lumber Products TimberStrand® manufacturing plant in Kenora, Ontario is currently seeking Entry Level Production Associates to join our team. This is a fulltime, permanent position with paid training, competitive wages, benefits from Day 1, and long-term career growth.

Production Associates support mill operations by working safely in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Employees rotate through a variety of tasks and receive all required training to perform their work safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
  • Successful completion of Grade 12 or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work rotating 12hour shifts (days, nights, weekends)
  • Basic computer skills (school or work experience)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments is an asset but not required.
