MWM Earthworks has been the trusted lawn care and property maintenance provider to cottagers and businesses in the S.E. Whiteshell and Clearwater Bay area for the past 15-20 years. We have two locations, West Hawk Lake, and Keewatin ON. We are searching for an experienced candidate with a passion for the outdoors, and experience with maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. Attention to detail is important as well time management while dealing with properties in order to meet the daily agenda.
Duties:
- Garden maintenance, weeding, planting
- Yard cleanups, mowing and trimming, tree and brush removals
- Operate company trucks and tow trailers
- Oversee maintenance schedule of lawncare and gardening jobsites
- Ensure jobs are completed to high standards and a timely fashion
- Assist with tree removal jobs and landscaping projects
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- Experience with operating riding mowers is an asset
- Ability to assess health of lawn and identify turf problems
- Thorough understanding of site conditions at rural/cottage properties
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to work well with other team members and to work independently
