We’re looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who takes pride in building exceptional work and knows how to bring the best out of a crew. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think ahead, communicate clearly, and take ownership of a project—not someone who needs to be told what to do next.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Lead custom residential projects in collaboration with management
  • Direct, support, and motivate a crew of 2–4 team members
  • Plan daily workflow and keep the crew focused on the right priorities
  • Stay ahead of project schedules, materials, and potential roadblocks
  • Read plans, take site measurements, and complete material takeoffs
  • Coordinate material requirements and orders with management
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure every detail meets BWF standards
  • Provide regular, accurate updates on progress, timelines, and challenges
  • Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and confidence
  • Maintain an organized, professional, and safe job site

  • The ability to read drawings and think several steps ahead
  • A dependable, accountable, and solutions-focused mindset
  • A willingness to teach others while remaining open to learning
  • Carpentry skill gets your foot in the door. Leadership, accountability, and mindset are what will make you successful here.
