Hours of Work: Full time/Summer Seasonal 30 to 45 hours per week (Starts as early as May 25, 2026 End date: September 30th, or later if available)
Wage: $25-35/hr depending on experience
Duties:
Job includes summarizing stored boats, minor maintenance and delivery of watercrafts to the customers/marina. Employees assist with service calls. At the end of the season, the job requires pick up, winterizing and storage of boats. Prior knowledge of marine and mechanical skills are of benefit, but training will be provided.
Summarize boats:
- Connect & charge batteries, test electronics
- Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
- Pressure wash boat, deliver to customer or marina
- Assist with troubleshooting and repair on service calls
Winterize boats:
- Pick up boat, check and change oils if necessary
- Prepare boat for storage
- Shrink wrap boat and deliver to storage lot
- Assorted shop duties: cleaning shop, parts pickups, assisting with inventory
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Clean drivers record
- English reading and writing skills
- Boating experience and boat license preferred
- Experience pulling, backing and parking trailers preferred
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Mechanical and tool experience preferred
