At CSINW, we look for people who are reliable, energetic, caring and trustworthy to assist persons with physical disabilities in their own homes (in a supportive housing or outreach setting) with activities of daily living (i.e. Personal care, transferring and homemaking).
Qualifications:
- Good people skills, able to take direction and ability to work as part of a team;
- Experience working with persons with disabilities;
- PSW training an asset but not required and/or interest in the health care field;
- Good verbal/written communication skills;
- Location: Walmart Area
- Multiple short visits per day (3 visits, 7 days a week)
- Flexible opportunities – all availability will be considered (applicants do not need to
- be required to be available for all shifts/days etc.)
- Driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle required
- Comfortable working in a home with pets (cats/dog)
