Richard McKenzie Insurance is seeking an experienced and motivated Part-Time Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our growing team. This is a remote, work-from-home position based in the Kenora area, offering flexibility while providing exceptional service to our Ontario clients.

 

Duties:

  • Service an existing portfolio of Ontario personal insurance clients.
  • Provide advice and quotations for home, auto, cottage, tenant, condo, and recreational vehicle insurance.
  • Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Follow up on new business opportunities and referrals.
  • Review renewals and identify opportunities for additional coverage.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through professional, timely communication.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and activities within our brokerage management system.
  • Work independently while collaborating with the Manitoba-based team when needed.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while meeting company service standards.

 

Qualifications:

  • RIBO licensed
  • Previous personal lines insurance experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario personal insurance products.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently from a home office.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Proficient with computers and able to learn new brokerage systems.
  • Experience with Applied Epic is considered an asset.
