We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient relocation of items for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience in moving operations or warehouse environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in logistics, customer service, and heavy lifting within a dynamic team setting. Responsibilities. Requirement: G Class or D Class License.
Duties:
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, appliances, and other heavy items using proper techniques and equipment
- Operate forklifts and other moving machinery as needed to facilitate efficient loading and unloading
- Assist clients with the moving process, providing excellent customer service and clear communication throughout the job
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and storage areas
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent injuries or accidents during moves
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate move schedules and logistics
Qualifications:
- Requirement: G Class or D Class License.
- Prior experience in moving services, warehouse operations, or related fields is preferred. Willing to Train
- Familiarity with forklift operation and commercial driving is a plus
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and manual labor over extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively
- Previous customer service experience is advantageous for ensuring client satisfaction
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to safety standards
