Titan Heavy Repair is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will be responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling work, creating work orders, assigning tasks to technicians, and reviewing requested work to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering Incoming Calls:
  • Promptly answer and manage incoming customer calls.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide accurate information about services.

Scheduling Work:

  • Schedule service appointments efficiently to maximize productivity.
  • Coordinate with customers to confirm appointment times and service details.

Creating Work Orders:

  • Generate detailed work orders based on customer requests and service needs.
  • Ensure all necessary information is accurately documented.

Assigning Tasks to Technicians:

  • Assign work orders to appropriate technicians based on their skills and availability.
  • Monitor the progress of assigned tasks and provide support as needed.

Reviewing Requested Work:

  • Review and verify the requested work with customers before and after service.
  • Ensure all work is completed to customer satisfaction and company standards.

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and handle complaints effectively.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain organized records of work orders, schedules, and customer interactions.
  • Assist with invoicing and processing payments as needed.
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a service writer, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer software and office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the industry and technical aspects of the services offered is preferred.
