Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
The Devil’s Gap Marina is Kenora’s premiere Gas Bar/Convenience Store/Marina wholly owned by the Anishinaabe of Wauzhushk Onigum that provides docking, gas, and confection services to a wide range of customers. We are accepting applications from highly motivated individual(s) with the demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties include:
- Process sales made by customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Completion of shift duties; including stocking and cleaning as needed
- Completion of shift reports in a neat and accurate fashion
- Any other duties that management may require
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
- Friendly and courteous
- Proficient in math, with the ability to make change
- Cashier experience an asset, but will train
- Computer literacy is an asset
- Knowledge of Aboriginal community, culture, and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability in time management skills
- Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision to complete daily tasks
