Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:

We are a caring and active family looking for experienced childcare providers for our grandson who has cerebral palsy. If you are someone who loves working with children and takes pride in creating a safe and nurturing environment, we would love to hear from you!

• Providing attentive and loving care for our grandson, aged 1 year & 9 months.
• Preparing meals and snacks for the child.
• Organizing age-appropriate activities and outings.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of carrying and caring for a toddler.
• Commit to daily exercises and scheduled appointments.

Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:

• Experience: Proven experience caring for children, including infants and young kids.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
• Skills: Certified in First Aid/CPR C (or willing to obtain certification).
• Engaging Personality: Creative, patient, and attentive to children with high needs, ensuring they feel secure, supported, and valued.
• Interpersonal Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and maintain a positive, open relationship.
• Knowledgeable About Medical Conditions: Familiarity with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and its potential impacts on family dynamics is a strong asset.
• Dependable: Punctual, organized, and trustworthy.
• Background Check: Must be able to provide a clear criminal record check.
• Flexible Availability: Weekdays and weekends.
