Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:

The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with a positive attitude, is hard working and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills. A good sense of humour and the love for a good craft beer is required.

You will be working closely with the Director of Marketing and the Marketing & Purchasing Coordinator and will be responsible for the following:

Social Media:

  • Aid the marketing team in the development and execution of social media strategies to enhance brand presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Help create engaging content, including posts, stories, and live updates
  • Monitor social media trends and respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely manner
  • Help with maintaining company website updates
  • Coordinate online contests and giveaways

Content Creation:

  • Produce high-quality and visually appealing content, including graphics, photos, and videos, to showcase our brewery’s products and events
  • Collaborate with the brewing and sales teams to capture behind-the-scenes moments and highlight our unique brewing process
  • Schedule photoshoots for new beers, merchandise and food items
  • Assist the marketing team in updating online store (Shopify)

Community Engagement:

  • Build and nurture relationships with our online community and industry influencers, responding to comments and messages in a timely and personable manner
  • Build and execute online campaigns to encourage user-generated content and community participation
  • Create monthly email campaigns to communicate promotions, sales, events and new products
  • Create Good Times Magazine/Brochure quarterly to communicate promotions, sales, events and new products
  • Create press release materials

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Help Sales Director and Marketing Director plan and execute exciting marketing materials and campaigns to promote new beer releases and events 

Event Coordination:

  • Help plan, schedule and execute taproom events and bookings, off-site events and event sponsorships/partnerships
  • Help setup on-site and off-site events
  • Attend events when possible for social media posts and photos

Brand Consistency:

  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels to maintain a cohesive and attractive brand image
  • Help build consistent and engaging sales materials for our sales team and accounts
  • Design and print POS materials (posters, table talkers, menus etc.) for our retail store, taproom and events
  • Assist with the design and source exciting merchandise for retail sale and giveaway opportunities in the sales department
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
  • A degree or diploma in Graphic Design and/or Marketing is considered an asset
  • Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing, preferably in the craft beer or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge and use of various social media platforms and trends including, but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Proficiency in creating and managing social media advertisements
  • Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other tools and software such as Canva
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with craft beer and the craft beer scene
