Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:

The right candidate will work in a manner to meet the safety, quality and efficiency standards for the particular job at hand, as well as working in a team environment. The Yard Worker is responsible for a variety of duties, including: loading, unloading and moving products and materials to the designated locations in the warehouse and storage yard. The Yark Worker is also accountable for checking received orders and confirming that all inventory transactions are completed and documented.  The Yard Work will need to be willing to support our Woodstock location from time to time.   Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment.
• May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking materials.
• Pick orders and prepare for shipping, including: stacking, wrapping, and crating products.
• Ensure they are high quality materials being shipped.
• Participate in clean-up and maintenance.
• Perform other handling duties such as: counting, weighing, and sorting.
• Put away received materials to proper storage locations
• Confirm inventory transactions are complete.
• Assist in processing the receipt of incoming materials.
• Work with carriers to assist in the loading of materials for shipment.
• Ensure raw materials are moved to the appropriate manufacturing cells and finished goods are moved to proper inventory locations
• Assist with inventory processes.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 – 5 years relevant experience
• Experience operating Front-End Loaders
• Loader/Operator ticket or equivalent.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems for material handling is considered an asset.
• Capable of understanding key processes in the department
• Assist with inventory processes
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in material handling methodology.
• Willing to work overtime as required and committed to doing what is necessary to ensure duties are completed.
• Strong oral and written English language communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities.
• Sense of urgency with excellent attention to detail.
• Other duties as assigned
